I recently moved, and I have a lot of objects to hang or mount on walls and some that I am creating from scratch using carpentry tools. This digital level protractor makes it easy to see at a glance if a surface is level or not. It responds instantly to changes in angle, and shows you on an easy to read lit up screen.I am very happy with this device, and I’m sure I’ll find lots of uses for it. I’ve really enjoyed using it since I got it. It is very compact and comes in a black carrying case. I’ll have to make sure not to lose it because it’s so easy to miss once it’s in its black case.Overall, I recommend this to anybody who needs an easy to use digital protractor. It’s a great buy.

I’m not really sure why I bought this as I have plenty of old style bubble levels but was just cruising around amazon.com and came on this and thought what the heck. Anyway, it is a nice compact little digital level. Easy to use and can display not only degrees but percentage of angle and inches of rise per foot. It has a magnet for attaching to whatever you are measuring if applicable. And it is lighted. Even included the batteries. I’m impressed and am glad i purchased it.

I didn’t know I needed one until I bought this. Wow! What a difference this little gadget had made during my kitchen renovation. Originally purchased it to accurately angle my new table saw blade on order to make matching 45°cuts. Now I’m addicted to getting it digitally perfect every time. Also, I don’t use a level anymore without this attached to it. Getting that 0.00° angle has now become a must on every edge. Great that it’s magnetic too.Being able to change the read out to display in/ft incline is also very useful. It measures down to a 1/8in rise out drop in elevation over a distance – does metric too.Very handy. It made hanging my new kitchen cabinets kinds of fun. Love getting that 0.00° degree across my four for level. Much more accurate than a sight bubble.

Wanted to buy a digital inclinometer after seeing them used on YouTube for leveling saw blades. These meters listed on Amazon seem to be very similar in build and quality (ranging from $15-$30+) so I took a gamble on a cheaper one. Used it multiple times over the last few weeks and so far no regrets. Seems to make reliable and consistent readings. At this point can’t make any judgment about the battery life since I haven’t needed to change them yet. Overall, a great buy for a good price in my opinion.

This inclinometer has been perfect for my Orion XT8 telescope giving me accurate altitude readings while trying to find objects in the night sky. Combined with a setting circle on the base for azimuth coordinates, I can find objects very quickly. The magnetic base allows the inclinometer to attach easily to the metal tube. The numbers are bright, almost too bright in fact, for my needs. I like the auto off feature. That definitely saves on battery life as I tend to forget to turn it off as I gaze into the night sky.

I love these things, I bought 4. I had a few from Harbor Freight but they took annoying CR2032 batteries (3 each device), this takes easy to find AAAs. Works as well as the Harbor Freight or the Johnson(?) one I bought for lowes for more than half the price. Only thing I’d wish this would do is also level on its back, since NONE of these have amazing viewing angles. Though this and the Johnson(?) one have backlighting, really nice backlighting. Great light diffusion. Doesn’t look like cheap three LEDS shining down on the display, almost looks like proper backlighting. Definitely recommend, great for 3D printer bed leveling too.

I bought this level primarily to align my saw at 90 degrees to my table. I will say it works great! Make sure the surface your saw sits on is level or you will get an inaccurate reading. I think it goes without saying that the tool is only as level as the foundation you are applying it to. If your base in not level, you will never get a good reading. This device serves its purpose for me and I can only offer my personal opinion based on my experience! I would recommend this with the above listed caveat!

That’s as far as I can tell… I don’t have a way to determine that the readings are true, but they are 100% repeatable. If I measure the same place, the reading is the same every time. If I turn the device 90º, the reading is 90º different. It does have a true zero mode which tells me my floor is 0.5º out of level. I can believe it; water does flow a bit, but not far or fast. I think it will have many more uses than what I bought it for (which was to measure the angle between a knife and stone for sharpening).

Building some hexagonal shelf’s with a table saw. I was struggling to get a tight tight joints. Was just using the markings on the table saw and quickly realized that the gaps in the wood were too large or to tight. This also made it hard to Aline and square up the shelf’s. The angle finder made things got a lot easier very quickly. Joints are tight and squiring about falls into place. I even use it to assure my saw is a strait 90 for rip cuts. It dose exactly what I needed it to do. Just a strait up angle finder to get the job done.
